Collection: Bespoke Corsets

At Bone & Busk, we offer all of our ready to wear shapes available for a fully bespoke fit, along with shapes exclusive to the bespoke process.

What is "bespoke"?

Bespoke refers to the process of hand-drafting a pattern to fit your unique body. Included under our bespoke umbrella are corsets designed for:
Tightlacing
Medical
or, our unique shapes that require precise fit.

Many of our clients who choose bespoke do so because they have particular fit needs, be it their bust, a dramatic hip spring, or asymmetry that requires accomodation. Bespoke does not mean "couture" which is a term to describe fabric quality standards and hand finishing requirements.

Why bespoke?

Many of our regular clients opt in for bespoke drafting because, while it is an investment, we hold onto your unique pattern for five years, resulting in any future corset produced in that pattern & style costing only the price of either our ready to wear overbust or underbust* styles using any of our available fabrics depending on the style you chose. Specialty fabrics such as leather or silk, and finishing details such as fan lacing, lace overlay, or flossing are subject to change the base price.  Please note that these listings demonstrate our base price for each of these styles and are not exact, as each bespoke piece is a unique build and final prices will vary.

Turn Around Time

Our turn around time for bespoke corsetry is approximately 4-8 weeks. Times may vary depending on when you are available for your mockup fitting, and the complexity of the garment. We also do offer rush orders, at an additional fee of 25% of the total price for your garment. Rush orders can be completed within one week of purchase, pending on your availability for a mockup fitting. Rush orders only cover one mockup fitting.

If you are looking for couture finishing and are on a limited budget and/or fit our ready to wear patterns, consider one of our semi-custom corset options.
